We are pleased to announce that, at the beginning of March, Infosound will start to introduce a brand new service with (for some) an old and familiar name - Soundings. We will pilot the service for three months and, hopefully, after that it will become a permanent fixture.

We think Soundings is a very appropriate title because we'll be taking 'soundings' from blind and partially-sighted people across the United Kingdom on their opinions, their practical hints and tips and their experiences about living with sight loss. These will be shared freely through this web site and in our monthly Infosound Despatch audio magazine on CD.
